Who we are

About Us

Quirky Ketchups are made on a small family fruit farm in Norfolk, surrounded by fresh country air, vibrant orchards, and Norfolk’s characteristically broad skies. We are a proudly family-run company, created and run by mother and son, with a shared passion for flavour, craftsmanship, and making the most of what the land provides.

With an enduring affinity for using our local apples, plums, and pears, we began to wonder whether we might create something more adventurous by working with more exotic fruits alongside our traditional Norfolk produce.

Our journey began with a warming orange and ginger ketchup, which we soon discovered was superb with salmon and all forms of oily fish. From there, we expanded into pineapple and green chilli, followed by green tomato and red chilli. Before long, a small but distinctive range of ketchups had emerged, each one unmistakably individual in flavour and spirit. Hence the name: Quirky Ketchups.

When autumn arrived, we turned to local Norfolk pumpkins and created our exquisite spiced pumpkin ketchup, a perfect accompaniment to game meats and barbecues alike. This year, we completed the range with our latest creation, mango and red chilli, a remarkably versatile ketchup that works with almost anything and is even delicious enough to be used as a salad dressing.

Every Quirky Ketchup is made by hand on our Norfolk farm, produced in extremely small batches of just twenty-four bottles at a time. This approach allows us to maintain complete control over flavour, quality, and character, ensuring that every bottle reflects the care, integrity, and family values at the heart of our company.
